This years TRT Tour to Uganda was the biggest yet. A truly international group of 36 Volunteers representing England, Australia, India, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya …. and Wales kicked off the work in Jinja coaching in 12 local Primary Schools.

Jinja Team

Camping at Jinja Nile Rugby Club, the group set about the daily schedule that included coaching over 700 boys and girls culminating in a 24 team tournament at the Dam Waters ground.

All our Tours have a unique and special feel about them created by so many people from diverse backgrounds coming together to work towards a common goal. This week was no different – our finale Tournament had a junior & senior category and included a deaf team from Walakubu West Primary School … not to mentione Chikopo the Dog (recycled mascot from London Irish !)
