TRT Project Update – Groundworks underway in Mbale
Tag Rugby Trust Uganda 2009 Tour veteran Craig Davis of CED Consultancy Ltd has volunteered two weeks of his time to travel to Uganda and oversee the critical stage of the ground preparation work for the Mbale Elephants Community Rugby Club project

On Saturday 25 February Tag Rugby Trust held its first ever tournament in a high density Harare suburb. Tafara High 1 School in Mabvuku which is located 15 minutes outside Harare proved to be a superb venue for a morning filled with excitement and smiles all round.

Eighteen year old Asha Nakityo, a Rugby player with Thunderbirds women’s club and Lady Cranes National team, has just scooped the prestigious USPA (Uganda Sports Press Assoc) award for “Top Female Rugby Player 2011″.
Hurstmere School and TRT continuing their links with Zambia
Hurstmere School recently held an open evening to promote their Zambia project with the Tag Rugby Trust. They used the night to thank sponsors of previous trips, reward students of the 2011 Trip and recruit new students for the 2013 planned trip.
