More Tag Rugby kit lands in Zambia

THE KIDS LEAGUE GULU TAG RUGBY FESTIVAL- 31ST JULY 2010
After successful completion of a tag rugby teacher training course in Gulu district in June 2010 the Tag Rugby Trust Uganda in conjunction with The Kids League Uganda held the first ever tag rugby festival of its kind in Northern Uganda.
Green Hill Ruggers dominate School Tag Rugby Tournament
Green Hill Academy located in central Kampala took a week off for a tag rugby school inter colour Tournament in which six colours Yellow,Orange,Green,Purple,Blue and Red got involved. The International school is part of the 24 participants we had in the Kampala Grand festival that was edged in the semi knock out stage in June.
Uganda 2010 Phase 2 and Tour Party returns

Tag Rugby Trust – Uganda 2010 … First Phase (Jinja) complete
The first weeks training schedule and Tournament have been completed and was a fantastic success. As is usual with TRT Tours, the volunteers found the first few days to be chaotic with group sizes varying from 30 to more than 80! The enthusiasm and athleticism of the children has been extraordinary and all the coaches have been blown away by it.
Tag Rugby Trust Tour Season 2010 gets underway in Uganda
It’s fantastic to be back in Uganda, reunited with our local employees and volunteers and hearing stories of their work with Tag Rugby over the last year first hand, the highlight of which must be the Grand Kampala Tournament featuring 24 teams held two weeks ago.
Kampala Tag Rugby Festival
The 2010 Tag rugby Tournament preparations kicked off with three weeks coaching in 20 Schools around Kampala. Twenty coaches got involved in the school training with aid from the school sports teachers who had just achieved coaching skills from a one-day tag Rugby workshop.
